Clark County's minimum code requirement for a dryer exhaust vent is 14 feet with no more than two 90 degree elbows; each extra elbow takes 2 feet off the maximum. It must end in a non-screened eyebrow termination with a backdraft damper. A dryer model that allows a longer run must be in place at final with its installation instructions on site. In the City of Las Vegas, installing a dryer exhaust needs a permit. (source: City of Las Vegas Building and Safety)
